2. Take the Burnt Mountain Preserve Trail

If you are visiting Jasper, GA, another thing you’ll want to think about doing is walking the Burnt Mountain Preserve Trail. The Burnt Mountain Preserve is a 900-acre preserve that is owned by the county and features a rugged loop trail.

The 1.1-mile moderate-difficulty hike features beautiful views of wildflowers and wildlife. The trail is a bit on the steeper side but is well worth the effort for those who are willing to give it a try. You’ll catch views of a scenic creek and nature while in the preserve.

The Old Mulehouse Pub and Restaurant is another great option that serves some delicious eats as well as some amazing drinks. If you’re in the mood for seafood, however, you’ll want to go down the street to Last Catch, where you’ll find fresh seafood. You can also indulge in the best prime rib around at Last Catch on Friday and Saturday nights.
